ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrive at 1.30pm at our high country farming property
that’s been in the Watson family for many generations.

Upon arrival you are greeted by the Watson family and fitted
with your riding gear and provided with tuition before setting
out on your experience on horseback.

You ride up to spectacular 360 degree views and along the
way, watch out for the wildlife that often takes a look at us,
including kangaroos, wallabies and Australia’s largest bird of
flight, the wedge tail eagle.

The ride takes you to the famous ‘jump scene’ from the “Man
from Snowy River” movie.

You then descend to Watson’s Hut for the evening.

Enjoy a spit roast dinner (we cater for other dietary requests)
and evening around the open camp fire. Watch the sunset
over the valley and be in awe of the colours of the sky and
the excitement of the native wildlife passing through.

Relax undercover on a stretcher bed and swag.. glamping
in the bush.

Day 2: Enjoy a cooked breakfast before saddling up and
taking in more spectacular views on a new trail and back
down to the farmhouse arriving just before lunchtime
12.00pm to complete your experience.

ITINERARY

Arrive at 9.30am at our high country farming property that’s been in the Watson family for many generations.

After gearing up, we set off on our ‘Man from Snowy River’ experience on horseback. We enjoy spectacular 360 degree views and along the way, watch out for the wildlife that often takes a look at us, including kangaroos, wallabies and Australia’s largest bird of flight, the wedge tail eagle.

We ride to Kate Camerons peak that looks over to Mt Buller on one side and over the Howqua Valley and Lake Eildon on the other. This is also where the famous jump scene from the ‘Man from Snowy River’ movie was filmed. We stop to take photo’s before we descend down to our bush hut for a bbq lunch.

After lunch we climb back up to more spectacular scenery overlooking the Delatite Valley before descending back down to the farm to complete our ride.
